Born 1965. Apprenticeship as a mechanic from 1984 to 1987. Afterwards studies in mechanical engineering at the Jade university of applied sciences in Wilhelmshaven, certificate in 1990. Worked at Demag Transmission Systems as a designer until 1992. Then advanced training for European Welding Engineer in Duisburg. Responsible for welding and machining at the wind turbine supplier Logaer Maschinenbau GmbH from 1992 to 1994. After this worked as a designer at Enercon until 1998.
Foundation of Engineering consultants CEPEMAX in 1999. Worldwide first development of a hydraulic rotorlock with combined cylinder and bolt as one part; Realized together with Svendborg Brakes in 2003. Amongst others worked in research and development for wind turbine projects of DeWind D8 (until 2002), Repower 5M (until 2006), DeWind D9.2 (until 2012), Adwen AD8 (until 2017).
